Calling all young leaders! Applications are now open for the Mayor's Youth Academy. We’re seeking passionate teens who want to make a difference in our community.
What is the Mayor's Youth Academy?
This advisory committee works to encourage engagement with high school age leaders at a local level, develop programs with local schools, and promote public service with these students. It's an amazing opportunity to help shape the future of our City and have your voice heard in important decisions!
When are Meetings Held?
- Meetings will run once a month from October to May.
- The first meeting is Tuesday, October 29, from 6:30 - 8 pm.
- Each subsequent meeting will be on the 3rd Monday of each month, 6:30-8pm.
Who Can Apple?
- High school juniors and seniors
- Must be Walker residents
