Starting October 1, 2025, the City of Walker Parks and Recreation Department will be collecting items to donate to the West Michigan Veterans Assistance Program. WMVAP assists homeless and near-homeless Veterans and their families who have needs that are not being met. In the past, we have been able to donate an entire truckful of items thanks to the generous help from our Walker community. Help us honor our veterans and their families by donating.
